Our Team

The What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth is a partnership between the London School of Economics (LSE), Arup and Centre for Cities.

The Centre is led by Professor Henry Overman at the LSE, where he is based. The LSE team also includes a number of economists who lead and manage our evaluation and support work with local partners.

Arup previously led on the evidence gathering and reviews, and now lead predominantly on delivering our series of 'how to evaluate' workshops.

Centre for Cities manages the external communications including events, social media and stakeholder management on behalf of the Centre.

You can find out more about individual team members, and get in touch with them by using the menu to the left.

Our team is based across the three partner organisations, but if you would like to be put in touch with somebody directly you can email info@whatworksgrowth.org or call the Centre for Cities on 020 7803 4303.
