Rita leads on the external engagement for the What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth. She is responsible for events, design, stakeholder outreach and social media.
Rita is Head of External Affairs at Centre for Cities where she plays a similar role, overseeing its branding, design, digital, stakeholder management and events programme. Her main interests are in producing publications and communications which are evidence-based, clear, well-designed and engaging. She seeks to revise and renew the website to ensure the best possible user experience, and is open to new ideas and suggestions for how to do this better. She also works to make sure the Centre's events and stakeholder engagement activity is as helpful and valuable as possible.
Rita started at the Centre for Cities as Administrator and before that worked at IPPR in their operations team. She has an MA from Goldsmiths University.
