To develop effective local industrial strategies that work alongside the national strategy, this event will bring together Whitehall representatives and the 11 local partners we are currently working with to discuss the associated challenges and opportunities. In particular it will explore:
- How places and government are approaching industrial strategies and what the key challenges for delivering it will be
- How the strategy can be utilised to address local productivity challenges
- How the strategy can be used to design and deliver more experimental policy interventions, and specifically reward experimentation rather than results.
This is a closed workshop, but if you would like to learn more about it, or the wider local industrial strategies project, please contact Naomi Clayton: firstname.lastname@example.org
