On Tuesday 25 November we’re joining other What Works Centres for the launch of a new report showcasing our collective findings about how and where public investment should be prioritised. The What Works Network was created to allow policy decisions to be made based on robust and insightful evidence. Their initial findings are now being used by a range of policy-makers, allowing central Government and local commissioners and practitioners to improve public services while making sure that taxpayer’s money is spent effectively.
During the day we will hear from:
- Rt Hon Oliver Letwin, Minister for Government Policy, Cabinet Office
- Dr David Halpern, National What Works Adviser
- Jon Baron, President of US Coalition for Evidence-Based Policy
Our Director Henry Overman will also present our findings alongside the heads of the other Centres in the What Works Network.
This event is organised by the What Works Team in the Cabinet Office and is invitation only.
